I am interested in how things work, from the tiniest subatomic bits to the structures of civil society. I’m primarily a science writer, focusing on medicine, genetic engineering, robotics, oceanography and space. I also write about law, technology and business.
When I’m neither looking for new opportunities nor on deadline, I enjoy reading history, cooking, traveling and hiking with my dog and my husband.
